He reminded everyone of the Board’s promise to reduce the amount of the additional levy if the state budget included a school funding increase. Last year the district underutilized $256,952 of the referendum levy. The 2024-25 budget includes a levy that does not use $981,726. He presented an estimated mill rate of $6.578; one of the lowest mill rates in the area. Moved VanDeKreeke, seconded by VandeWalle to approve the levy of $18,404,422 as presented. FUTURE BOARD MEETINGS & TOPICS: • The next board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 6:30 pm in the District Office; 1055 Griffiths Lane; Ashwaubenon, WI. • The last two referendum meetings are scheduled for October 24th at 4:00 pm and October 30th at 6:00 pm in the District Office.
