N O T I C E CITY OF MERRILL TAXPAYERS The Board of Review for the City of Merrill will meet on, Monday, October 14, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers. This meeting is a statutory meeting to hear appeals from the Assessment Roll of the City of Merrill. The Board of Review will meet for a minimum of two hours. Anyone wishing to appear before the Board of Review may obtain an objection form from the Clerk/Treasurer’s office at City Hall. Objection forms should be completed and returned to the Clerk/Treasurer’s office by Friday, October 11, 2024. An appointment to appear before the Board of Review will be scheduled for all persons returning a completed objection form. No person shall be allowed to appear before the Board of Review, to testify to the board by telephone or to contest the amount of any assessment of real or personal property if the person has refused a reasonable written request by certified mail of the assessor to view such property. After the first meeting of the Board of Review and before the board’s final adjournment, no person who is scheduled to appear before the Board of Review may contact, or provide information to, a member of the board about that person’s objection except at a session of the board. NOTICE OF LIQUIDATION TSB Bank, Lomira, Wisconsin and Empeople Credit Union, Moline, Illinois, have entered into a Purchase and Assumption Agreement that will result in Empeople Credit Union acquiring substantially all of the assets and assuming substantially all of the liabilities of TSB Bank. Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes § 221.0801, notice is hereby given that on March 28, 2024, TSB Bank filed a Certified Notice of Liquidation pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes § 221.0801 with the Department of Financial Institutions, State of Wisconsin. Empeople Credit Union will continue to operate legacy TSB Bank branches after closing of the transaction.
