The public hearing will be held to gather public input on the amendments to the Waupaca County Comprehensive Plan. The Waupaca County Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the Waupaca County Board of Supervisors on September 18, 2007. The proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Preferred Land Use Map are within the Town of Union. The map amendments are to ensure that the Waupaca County Comprehensive Plan remains consistent with the locally adopted comprehensive plans. The proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Preferred Land Use Map are within: The Town of Union, to remove part of a parcel located in the NW ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 16, lying along Ridgeview Lane, Fire Number N8806, Waupaca County, Wisconsin (prt parcel 19-16-42-9) from the Farmland Preservation Overlay and to amend the preferred land use category of part of the same parcel from Agriculture to Residential to accommodate proposed sales of the parts of the parcel.
